Das Druck- & Gegendruckprinzip nutzt einen präzisen physikalischen Mechanismus: Die B/S Spange wird unter Spannung auf den Nagel appliziert, wodurch ein gezielter Druck auf die Nagelfläche entsteht. Als Reaktion erzeugt die elastische Spange einen kontinuierlichen Gegendruck (Rückstellkraft).
Wächst eine Nagelkante zu stark in das Gewebe, hebt dieser Gegendruck den Nagelrand sanft an und richtet ihn auf. So wird die Ursache des Schmerzes direkt korrigiert, ohne dass das umliegende Gewebe belastet wird.
